The itinerary was great. Saw lots of different things. Each park was unique... read more and we actually loved many of the non park sites like Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon and Mesa Verde. The tour companies in Page for the Lake Powell and Upper Antelope Canyon were both terrific. And The Silverton train ride was awesome! Great scenery. Very fun!

The hotels were also well chosen. Cliff Rose was a fabulous location. Again they were all varied in style. Cougar Ridge was amazing. We also really liked the Hoodoo Hilton in Moab.

We ate well and enjoyed the variety of cuisines and atmospheres. A great selection!

As for our tour guide,Ivan was FABULOUS!
He was an excellent driver which made us comfortable on some of those high curvy roads. He was very caring and watched out for everyone’s safety He was knowledgeable and gave us excellent hike recommendations but most importantly his demeanor was pleasant, patient/calm and VERY accommodating. We enjoyed getting to know him.

In conclusion, Utah Luxury Tours put great care and detail into planning our trip and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others. Beyond pleased!

We booked with Utah Luxury Tours for... read more a couple of reasons. We toured with only 4 other couples--all about our age. We walked around 3 miles a day--no more. And we stayed at VERY NICE hotels at the end of the day.

Our guide and driver was Richard T. He was terrific--always had something interesting to say about what we were looking at. Very knowledgeable about the area. Very accommodating to our hiking ability and other needs on vacation.

It rained one day--all day--and Richard didn't want us hiking in the rain. (Thank you Richard.) So he planned some other interesting stops--Indian museums and such. A very good alternative.

Breakfast and lunch was on ULTs and was very casual--as many of the national park areas had only very casual restaurants in and nearby. We were quite happy with the meals. Dinner--on us--seemed pricey most of the time, but we were prepared for that. Not overwhelming pricey, just a nice dinner out every night.

The people we met on the tour were great. We had a lot in common and got along really well. Made some fast friendships. I'm so glad we didn't go on a bus tour of 20 or 30 people. More flexibility with smaller numbers. and easier to get to know people.

The views were stupendous everyday and everywhere.

I would highly recommend Utah Luxury Tours. Hope you get a chance to go.

I loved all 5 national parks. If I could choose to see only three, I would choose Zion, Arches and Bryce--all spectacular and very different.

  Seeing these Parks was on our ‘bucket list’ and this trip delivered. The scenery was absolutely spectacular! Richard, our guide, was fantastic. He arranged our days... read more to meet everyone’s interests and was able to answer our questions and take care of individual concerns. He is a genuinely nice guy who is fun to travel with.
The lodging was all arranged by ULT and all the locations were clean and comfortable. Our favorite was the Hilton Curio in Moab and our least liked hotel was the Waldorf in Park City. It just didn’t feel like the Waldorf lived up to the luxury image their name implies and the Waldorf screwed up the billing process for some of us.
The one big bummer for me was the vehicle we rode in. With a name like Utah LUXURY Tours I was expecting a vehicle with maybe bucket seats and for sure with decent leg room. We were in a Ford 350 “people mover” high roofed van. Two of the rows of seats had less knee room than economy class airline seats. I am about 6’1” and could not sit with my knees straight in front of me.
Bottomline is for this tour: amazing scenery and a fantastic tour guide, BUT if you are taller than six foot be sure you understand the vehicle arrangements!

He’s knowledgeable about this area of the country, pointing geological factors impacting the landscape as well as sharing history. He adjusts the trip to your hiking abilities, but also encourages you so that you can accomplish an epic hike. He has a passion for the outdoors and wants to ensure that you love your vacation as he loves exploring it with you.

We also appreciate the flexibility of Utah Luxury Tours; being able to adapt should COVID cause any hiccups, as well as dealing with a family emergency.

Could we have done these trips solo? Sure. But with Utah Luxury Tours/Richard, we got to experience additional hikes and canyons and state parks because of their knowledge and insight. Plus, who doesn’t want to be picked up straight from the airport, and not have to worry about driving? Their service reduces any stress that can arise so that you fully enjoy your vacation!

We booked this trip for several reasons, the main one being that we didn't have to be concerned with driving, airport transfers, and booking hotel rooms - everything was taken care of for you. You receive personal support from the company - in our case, we spoke directly with Sienna who was able answer all of our questions so there were no surprises when our trip started. Our tour guide, Richard, was the best!! He always made sure everyone was comfortable with our itinerary for the day, on hikes he was always right there in case anyone needed assistance. Our trip officially started with a get-together in the first hotel we stayed at (Waldorf - Park City). This gave everyone an opportunity to meet each other, plus, we planned times for next day's activities. Please note that since this trip covers a lot of ground, it is structured (early morning departures), but Richard would always accommodate people if some wanted to do one activity and others wanted to do something else. First day was Canyonlands, with hotel stay in Moab for 2 nights at Hoodoo (Hilton Curio hotel - really nice - this was our favorite hotel of the trip). Next day was Arches - loved this park! Did the hike to Delicate Arch - a bit scary, but so glad we did it. Third day we went to Capitol Reef with a stop at the Goblins state park. Stayed at Capitol Reef Resort - we really enjoyed the grounds at this hotel. They have a variety of lodging options to fit everyone's needs. If you are able to catch a sunset here, it is fantastic - especially over the covered wagons! The Friday of our tour was cold and rainy. Bryce was on our agenda. Richard stopped at the Anasazi museum and the Escalante Heritage Center - both were really nice rainy day activities. We did mostly sightseeing from our van for Bryce, with a quick stop for some pictures. Even with the rain, it was a great day. Last day was Zion. Beautiful park! We used the shuttle which was a great way to see everything - very comfortable. Stayed at Cliffrose Hotel (another Hilton curio hotel). Very nice with beautiful grounds! Employees at the hotel were so polite and helpful. Throughout the entire trip, it was clear that Richard's priority was our safety and for us to have an enjoyable trip - he is such a great person!! If we have the opportunity, we will be doing another tour with this company and hopefully have Richard as a guide.
